Finesse Financial Advisers helps women develop life strategies around money. We’re guiding clients on their unique money journey with patience, love and care. Each of our clients are taken through a very individual process, carrying them to a brighter future where they’re very comfortable that they’re fully informed and making the right choices.

Finesse believe the industry norm of being known, liked and trusted by clients isn’t enough. We hold ourselves to a higher standard – to be acknowledged for being trustworthy, deserving of your trust, and generous. We exist to serve our clients, we’re helping woman improve their financial literacy, helping them create a financial plan and prevent them from unwittingly making financial mistakes. Our mission is to change our clients lives.

We are proudly a small business. Our Founder is actively involved in the day to day operations of the business and working with clients. Our focus is firstly on Strategy, then Structure, then a Solution.

We are a service business, NOT a sales and distribution channel for a large financial institution or product manufacturer.

As many investors have found out in recent years, biggest isn’t always best. A large financial institution with a high profile may signify safety and security, but in reality there’s only one connection between your financial position and the financial security of that institution – their large profits are underpinned by the fees you pay.

A bank, for instance, is vertically integrated. A financial planner in a bank branch is usually a salesperson for insurance and financial products designed and owned by that bank. The financial planner derives a commission from putting a client into bank insurance and managed funds. And often the management fees on those products are higher than many others available.

The bank’s financial planner wins because he gets the commission and the bank wins because the client is pushed into the bank’s own higher fee products.

Unfortunately, it’s the client who loses.

Finesse aren’t institutional financial planners with sales targets to meet. We don’t exist to sell you products or push specific funds or investments.

That means you are our focus.

Our licensee, FYG Planners is an Australian Financial Services Licensee (AFSL/ACL) built by advisers for advisers, with a management team that has formed the basis for the Global Association of Independent Advisers. FYG help us to put our clients’ interests first. We can always rely on their support, an accessible and experienced management, technical and compliance team.
